Disabling a Filter
You can turn a filter on or off without removing it from a clip. This is useful for
previewing different combinations of filters without having to repeatedly apply and
delete them.
To turn individual filters off:
1 Click the Filters tab in the Viewer.
2 Select the checkbox next to the filter’s name to remove the checkmark.
Select the checkbox again to turn the filter back on.
Removing a Filter
You can remove one or more filters from a clip at any point in your project.
To remove a filter from a clip, do one of the following:

Select the filter in the Filters tab, then press Delete.

Select the filter, then choose Edit > Clear.
m
Select the filter, then choose Edit > Cut.
m
Control-click a filter, then choose Cut from the shortcut menu.
To remove all of a clip’s filters:
1 Select the Video Filters bar in the Filters tab.
2 Do one of the following:
• Choose Edit > Clear.
• Press Delete.
3 Save your project.
Deselect this checkbox to
turn the filter off.
