Starting the Administrator

If you choose Administer another computer, go to the next step.
3. In the Choose Engine window, choose the Engine you want to
administer from the Bonjour menu. If the Engine you want to administer
is on a different subnet, it will not appear on the Rendezvous menu. Click
the Manual button, and type in the IP address of the remote Engine.
4. Click Connect.
5. In the Kurzweil 3000 Engine Password window, type the password that
you chose during the initial installation and setup of this Engine.
Note: If you forget the password for a remote Engine, you cannot
administer it from another computer. You must administer it locally from
the computer on which it is installed.
6. Click OK.
The Administrator launches. See Using the Kurzweil 3000 Administrator
on page 37, for information about Administrator features and functions.
