The Select Engine window lets you select a Kurzweil 3000 Engine either
from a list of available engines or by entering the IP Address of computer
on which there is a running Kurzweil 3000 Engine installed.
5. In the Engine Address area, do one of the following:
Click the Bonjour button, and select the name of the Kurzweil 3000
Engine that you want this client to use from the list.
or
Click the Manual button, and enter the IP address of a Macintosh that is
running the Kurzweil 3000 Engine that you want this client to use.
Note: The IP Address of the Engine must be a static as opposed to a
dynamic IP Address.
To obtain the Engine’s IP address, select System Preferences from the
Apple menu, and click Network. The IP address is listed next to the
Built-in Ethernet entry.
