C Configuring the Move Provider Server
This chapter describes how to set up the hardware and ISIS client information on a Move
Provider server. The Move provider is used to move files from one ISIS workspace to another.
n
The Move feature works only within a single workgroup with a single ISIS System Director. To
copy assets and media to a different workgroup, use the Copy Provider.
The following topics are described:
Move Provider Configuration on an AS3000
ISIS Connections and Client Software Installation
Creating Move Provider User Accounts for ISIS and Interplay
For details on setting up and using the Move Provider, see the Avid Interplay Media Services
Setup and User’s Guide and the Avid Interplay Access User’s Guide.
For information about configuring the AS3000, see the AS3000 Setup Guide.
Running the Copy Provider on an SR2500 System
Starting at Interplay v2.7, the Copy Provider and Move Provider are 64-bit applications and must
be run on Windows 7 Pro 64-bit. This means that SR2500 systems running a 32-bit OS must be
upgraded to the 64-bit OS. A 64-bit Windows 7 Pro image is available for the SR2500 and a
minimum of 4 GB of RAM is recommended. The Myricom cards are supported on this upgraded
system. Note that it is the responsibility of the customer to source the Microsoft WIN7 64-bit
license for the image. See your Avid representative for additional information.
