Build/Format• : First builds the video title set, then writes it to a DVD drive or as a disk image to a
hard disk.
Disc Meter• : A progress bar that shows both the amount of disc space used and what is still avail-
able (based on the Disc Media you select in the Disc/Volume tab in the Disc Inspector). The num-
ber underneath the progress bar shows the amount of space used.

Every element imported into a
DVD Studio Pro project is referered to as
an asset. The Assets tab is a central loca-
tion for managing the assets used in your
project. It displays extensive information
about each asset in columns that you can
conguretoseejusttheinformationyou
want. You can also create folders and sub-
folders within the Asset window to help
organize them when you’re working on
large projects.
NOTE:Addingandremovinglesfrom
the Asset window does not affect the
originalles,sobyremovingale,itis
not deleted from the computer, it just is no
longer listed in the Asset list.
NOTE: Before importing any asset, make
sureitisinyourprojectfolderrst.

The Graphical tab provides a tile-
based view of all elements in your proj-
ect. You are able to arrange the tiles and
display lines indicating how they connect
to each other. This makes it possible to
createaowchartofyourproject,which
can be printed and used for project plan-
ning and approvals.
Zoom to Fit: Zooms the graphical view
out until all elements are visible.
Show Macro View: The Macro view is
similar to the Navigator in Photoshop
and allows you to see a small map of
the graphical view which you can move
around on to highlight different areas in
the larger view.
