File properties
The following properties are available in the File Properties section
of the Job inspector:
Field order: Use the pop-up menu to set the order in which
video fields are transcoded. There are three options:
Progressive: Scans complete frames (not frames divided
into interlaced fields).
Top First: Scans interlaced fields, giving dominance (field
order) to the top field, also known as the upper field. Top
first field order is often used by 640 x 480 systems.
Bottom First: Scans interlaced fields, giving dominance
(field order) to the bottom field, also known as the lower
field. Bottom first field order is often used in professional
720 x 486 and DV 720 x 480 systems.
Metadata
The following properties are available in the Metadata section of
the Job inspector:
Closed captions: Click the Choose button to add
to your output file.
Add Job Annotation: Use this pop-up menu to add job
annotation metadata to your output file.
