The ColorSync Display is a Trinitron
®
color monitor that supports a variety of
resolutions a nd features advanced controls for accurate color renderi ng. T he
monitor works with Mac OS–based and Windows-based computers.
This chapter reviews important safety information and explains how to
set up and connect your monitor to your computer. If you purchased a new
computer along with your monitor, refer to the setup i nstructions that came
with your computer in addition to the instr uctions i n this manual.
Important safet y and cleaning instructions
WARNING Do not clea n your monitor screen with a clean er that contains
alcohol or acetone. You might damage the screen. For more infor mation
about cleani ng your monitor, see “Care and Cleani ng” in Chapter 4.
