About Fans
General There are three exhaust fans in the Color LaserWriter 12/600 PS. Take-
apart procedures for each immediately follow this topic. The role of
each fan is as follows:
1 Fuser fan (FM1): Exhausts air from behind the fuser assembly.
2 Main fan (FM2): Exhausts air from the area around the DC controller
board and laser/scanner assembly.
3 I/O controller fan (FM3): Exhausts air from the I/O board housing.
