Setting up the hardware for your system can be as simple as connecting your camera or
card reader to your computer. You can also set up a system that uses external hard disks
and color-calibrated displays.
This appendix provides instructions for setting up your computer system to use Aperture.
It provides instructions for setting up a basic system, explains optional equipment that
you might consider to enhance your system, and explains how to set up additional
displays. For information about software and hardware requirements for using Aperture,
