About Flickr Sets
When you publish images to a Flickr set, the image or group of images is placed in a
Flickr album in the Library inspector. Likewise, if Aperture detects a new Flickr set in
your Flickr account, Aperture creates a new Flickr album in the Library inspector and
downloads the set’s configuration. Clicking the Sync button next to the new Flickr album
downloads the images from the Flickr set.
Note: A Flickr album is not created for images and video published to your Flickr
photostream. For more information about publishing Flickr sets and uploading photos
and video to your Flickr photostream, see Signing In to Flickr and Facebook.
Publishing Images to Your MobileMe Gallery
Publishing photos directly from Aperture to your MobileMe account is a convenient and
effective method of providing web access to your images. Web galleries provide an
easy-to-use framework of webpages that can display your images at their best with few
design considerations on your part.
You can publish as many MobileMe albums from within Aperture as you want. When you
reach the storage capacity of your MobileMe account, you can easily purchase more
space.
For more information, see the following sections:
• Setting Up a MobileMe Account
• Setting MobileMe Preferences
• Creating a MobileMe Album
• Publishing to an Existing MobileMe Gallery
• Updating Your MobileMe Gallery Settings
After publishing an album to your MobileMe Gallery, you can either manually update it
or have Aperture automatically update the Gallery as you add images to the MobileMe
album within Aperture. For more information, see Updating Your MobileMe Gallery
Settings.
Important: You must have an Internet connection to share images from your Aperture
library with your MobileMe account.
Setting Up a MobileMe Account
