Searching for Images by Face
As you name the people that appear in the images in the library, the number of named
faces quickly grows. Locating images of a particular person is a simple process.
To search for images by face
1 In the Library inspector, select Faces.
2 In Faces view, enter the name of the person you are looking for in the search field.

Aperture displays the snapshot of the person whose name you entered in the search
field, removing all others from view.
To show all faces again

In Faces view, click the Reset button (with an X) on the right side of the search field.
Snapshots for all the people identified in the library reappear in Faces view.
You can use the Filter HUD in the Browser to perform more complex searches for people
in your images. For more information, see Searching by Face.
