To reorder eects: Drag the eects into the order you want, and click OK.
When you drag an eect, a blue bar indicates where the eect will be placed.

The eects list in the Eects pop-up menu is updated to match the order of eects in the
Eect Presets dialog.

To delete an eect: Select the eect you want to delete, and press the Delete key.
You can also choose Delete Preset from the Eect Action pop-up menu and click Delete
in the dialog that appears.
When you delete an eect, any adjustments that were applied to images using the eect
remain applied.

To restore the default eects that came with Aperture: Choose Reset All to Factory Settings from
the Eect Action pop-up menu.
Create an eect group
Creating eect groups helps reduce the list of eects that are initially displayed in the Eects
pop-up menu. For example, if you have several types of Color adjustment settings saved as
individual eects, you can create an eect group for Color eects, named Color. When you
choose Color from the Eects pop-up menu, the individual Color eects are displayed in a
submenu to the right.
