Replacement Instructions
The following instructions explain how to replace the fan in the iBook (14.1 LCD)
computer.
Tools
• Soft cloth
• #0 Phillips screwdriver
• Black stick (or other nonconductive nylon or plastic tool)
Preliminary Steps
Before you begin, remove the following:
• Battery
• Bottom case
• Bottom shield
Procedure
1. With the computer on a soft cloth, remove the single screw from the fan bracket.
