Keypad The keypad is used to enter additional information at the device. Interaction with the
device may include registering additional information about a shift or submitting non-
productive time.
Number Pad ............... Used to record values at the displayed prompts.
CLR Key .................... The Clear Key is used to remove information currently displayed
on the device.
ENT Key .................... The Enter Key is used to save the entered data or to move to the
next prompt.
F1 Key ....................... Provides access to the setup and configuration menu for the device.
Access is granted by depressing the F1 key until the "Supervisor
PIN" prompt displays. Access to the menu is granted only with a
valid PIN.
F2/F3 Key .................. When the In/Out Keys are enabled, the F2 key is used to identify
an In clocking, the F3 Key is used to identify an Out clocking.
F4 Key ....................... Pressing the F4 key accesses the Non Productive data entry. When
the key is depressed, the display changes to "Non Productive
Entry…Please Present Badge". With a successful badge
registration the user is able to record a non-productive entry.
Complete Entry Key .. The F4 key may also be configured to serve as a Complete Entry
key (or Rapid Entry key). When enabled, employees may use this
key to quickly complete a productive entry versus pressing the
ENT key or allowing the device to time out.
Function Keys ............ The four keys located to the left of the keypad may be configured
to automatically fill one prompt with data. In order to use this
feature the Function Keys must be enabled. The data to fill the
prompt must also be configured within the communications
software for each device. If the Rapid Entry Key is enabled, the
F4 key is not available as a function key.
Security Lock This lock provides access to the inside of the unit for wall mounting or network
connection. The lock requires a special key supplied with the device.
