ADDITIONAL FEATURES

COMPLETE ENTRY KEY (RAPID ENTRY KEY)

Employees may use this key to quickly complete a productive entry versus pressing the ENT key or allowing the

device to time out.

The Complete Key (Rapid Key) is configurable on each device. When enabled, the F4 key is not available for a

function key. Perform the following to enable/disable this key.

1. Log into theTA500 Administrator Utility.

2. Select the 'Update Reader Information' option.

3. Select the 'Update Reader Configuration' option.

4. In the Transaction Config section, click on the Rapid Key Enabled option to enable the feature. To disable,

click the Rapid Entry Enabled option to remove the check mark.

5. Click the Next button to continue with the reader configuration. Click Cancel to abort the process without

saving the new settings.

6. Click Finish to exit the utility.
