TELNET MENU

Ability to configure the device is available by using Telnet.

Perform the following to access the menu via Telnet.

1. Ensure the device is powered and communicating on the network.

2. Open a Command Prompt window. From the Start menu select All Programs, Accessories, and then

Command Prompt.

3. Enter one of the following commands:

"telnet Cnnnnnn 9999" where Cnnnnnn is the hostname. The default hostname is Cnnnnnn

where nnnnnn are the last 6 digits of the MAC address on the device.

"telnet #.#.#.# 9999" where #.#.#.# is the IP address configured.

4. When prompted enter the login and password. The login is 'apitech'. The initial password is 'password'.
