Stepsintheinstallationsectionsarenumbered.Aseachstepiscompleted,thestepnumbercanbecircledto
indicatecompletion.Thisprovidesaquickconfidencecheckattheendoftheprocedurethatnostepwasskipped.

therestofthe paragraphbeingsupportinformation.
Note
In case of discrepancy between connections listed in schematics versus information given in this manual,
the wiring information in the schematics should be considered the most reliable. All connections listed in
this section should be verified with the schematics before initial turn on.
Whenperformingtheinstallation,afterthetransmittercabinet(s)areinplace,plantorunthetransmitteroutput
transmissionlinesfirst,thentheliquidcoolingsystemplumbinglines,andfinallytheelectricalconduitruns.Ifair
handlingductworkistobeinstalled,planalloftheRF,plumbingandconduitruns
toleaveroomfortheductwork.
Thereasonforthisinstallationorderisthatrigidcoaxrunsmustbeinstalledwithminimumelbows.IftheRFruns
encounterobstaclessuchasliquidcoolantlines,conduit,andductworkmoreelbowswillberequired.TheRFlines
shouldhaveaminimumnumberofelbowsforbestperformance.
Heavydutyhosecanbeusedinsteadofrigidcopperline,hoseiseasiertoinstallandcanbeinstalledlast,aslongas
largeradiusturnsareusedandsharpbendsofthehosesareavoided.Hosemustbesupportedmorefrequentlythan
rigidcopper.Goodsupportisrequiredto
avoidsagging,becauseitcantrapliquidwhenthesystemisdrained,stress
thehoseatthesupportpoints,andifthesag gingissevere,causeflowrestrictionduetohosecollapseatthe
supportpoints.Conduit(cable)traysofferthebestsupportforthecoolanthoseruns.943‐5601‐308
2.4 OperatingEnvironment
Theselectionofaproperinstallationlocationisessentialforequipmentlongevityandreliability.Donot installthe
transmitterinplaceswhereitmaybeexposedtomechanicalshocks,excessivevibration,dust,water,saltyair,or
acidicgas.
