cutwithaminimumoftoolsforoneortwo pieces,butcanbeverylaborintensiveforputting

3. Method3.Swingarmbandsaw:Thisisagoodwaytogoifonecanberentedorborrowed.
Manypipefittersandelectricalcontractorsownthem.Ifthesawhasanautomaticfeed,cut
slowly.Itiscriticalthatthesupportsawhorsesbemadelevelwiththesaw.
Testcutsshould
firstbemadeusingscrappipeorawood4x4toverifythatthebladeisnotcreepingandthe

Caution
DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN THE VISE USED WITH THESE SAWS. IT WILL BE
DIFFICULT TO PUT THE FLANGE ON AN OUT OF ROUND PIPE.
