5.13.10 LeakDetectorandCabinetDrains
Aleakdetectorisinstalledatthebottomofthecabinet.TheleakdetectorisshowninFigure5‐1onpage5‐38.Itis
mountedinthebottomc abinetnearthecenter.Theleakdetectorconsistsofasmallreservoirwithafloat.TheTCU
monitorsthisleakdetectortoalertthesystemshouldaleakoccur.Aleakdetectionwillcausethetransmitterand
thepumptobeshutoffbyactivatingthepump
interlocksignal.Inordertoresettheleakdetectorthefloat
assemblymustberemovedandadrainplugremoved.Removingthedrainplugallowsthereservoirtodrainintothe
drippanatthebottomofthecabinet.Oncethereservoirisdrainedandtheleakdetectorassemblyreinstalled
the
transmittercanberestartedbypressingtheONbuttononthefrontoftheTCU.
Thecabinetcanbeemptiedofcoolantbyfirstturningoffthepumps,closingtheinletandoutletvalvesatthetopof
thetransmitterandthenopeningthefitt ingsattheendofthesupplyandreturnsidedrainhosesinsidethecabinet.
Usea7/16"openendwrenchto
openthedrainvalves.
