STEP 2 Wait30secondsforthemoduletocool.
STEP 3 UnscrewretainingscrewsandremovePAmodule.
STEP 4 RemovePAmodulecover.
STEP 5 Removefour(4)centerpalletholddownscrews(Allenhead).
STEP 6 Removefive(5)additionalpalletholddownscrews(Phi llipshead).
STEP 7 De‐soldertwojumpersandtheblue&grayDCsupplywires.
STEP 8 Removeboardandcleanupheattransfercompound.
Note
Removal of the pallet may be difficult due to the presence of the heat transfer compound under the board.
To remove the board first remove the cover supports either side of the board. Removal of the supports
allows room to insert a flat blade screwdriver beneath the edge of the board. Use the screwdriver to gently
pry upward without placing stress on adjacent boards. Repeat this process along the edges of the board in
several places until it loosens up.
STEP 9 Reapplyheattransfercompound.Useasmallrollerorbrushtoapplyeven,thincoat.
STEP 10 Installpalletandallholddownscrews.
STEP 11 Torquefour(4)allenscrewsto30inlbs.
STEP 12 Soldertwojumpersandtheblue&grayDCsupplywires.Materialtoreplacethe
jumpersisincludedinthepalletreplacementkit.Cutthereplacementjumpersto
matchthoseremoved.
STEP 13 ReplacePAmodulecover.
STEP 14 ReplacePAmoduleinrack.Tightenmoduleholddownscrews.
STEP 15 TurnonPAmodulebreaker.PressthetransmitterONbuttontoreactivateallmodules
thatareOFF.
