The BVNETADAPT interface
This interface enables access to a BvNet network via a PC
for remote control and monitoring of the devices on the
network. It provides two connectivity options RS232 serial
port or USB.
The device itself consists of a rugged steel box which will
easily fit into any laptop computer bag, or in a standard 19”
rack with the appropriate fixings (optional). An external
power supply will also fit into the same 1U rack space.
- Self-powered via the USB port
- Can drive up to 1km of network cable
- High quality Neutrik Ethercon connectors, also
compatible with standard RJ45 cables
- USB 1.1 compatible or 2.0 on a type B connector,
electric consumption 150mA
- EIA RS232C serial communication on a female D-pin
connector
- Power consumption: 750mW max via USB, 3W max via
external power supply.

BVNETPS (Power Supply)
External power supply for up to two BVNETADAPT adaptors.
Uses the same rack mounting accessories as
BVNETADAPTOR. Supplied with a cable terminating in a jack
connector for inter-device connection.
Mains supply 85V to 230V, frequency from 50Hz to 60Hz on
3-pin IEC connector#
Output power: 12v DC, 500mA max current per output on
3.5mm jack connector
