It is the responsibility of this product’s owner to furnish the instructions to any person that borrows
or purchases the product.
Inspect the product before use to ensure it is assembled properly and all parts are in safe working
order and free of defects.
Never modify this product in any way.

practice general safety measures when using this product.

This product is designed to carry one kayak only.
Position the foam blocks so that weight is evenly distributed on the vehicle roof.
Be sure the car roof, tie down areas, and foam blocks are clean and free of debris. Be sure straps
are away from sharp or abrasive surfaces and the vehicle exhaust.
Always secure the front and rear of the kayak to stable, metal tie down points on the vehicle.
Failure to properly secure the kayak can result in vehicle damage, serious injury, or death. Do not
drive the vehicle unless your are sure the kayak is secure and straps are adequately tightened.
Be sure the kayak is not touching the vehicle after the straps are tightened.
Be sure your view is not obstructed before driving.
While traveling, periodically check that all product components and the kayak are properly secured
and free of damage. Ensure all straps are tight.
Be aware that installing a kayak could cause an obstruction to your vehicle antenna or rear hatch
door. The antenna may need to be removed and caution should be used if opening the rear hatch.
Do not take through a car wash.
To reduce wind noise, twist the tie-down straps before attaching.
Prolonged use of tie-down straps against a vehicle’s nish may wear the paint. To prevent this,
use padding at the contact points, such as strap protectors or a piece of soft cloth, and be sure the
contact points are clean.
