Safety
Never exceed the 500 lb weight capacity.
Most Class III hitches are rated for 500 lbs; most Class IV hitches are rated for 1,000 lbs. Your hauling
weight may be limited by your vehicle’s capacity to carry a load. Please check with your dealer to nd out
your vehicle’s carrying capacity.
Distribute loads evenly. To minimize the e󰀨ects of dynamic loading, make sure the load is centered on the
carrier.
Will not work with Class II or smaller receivers. Not for use with 1-1/4" hitches.
Some vehicles may require air shocks or heavier springs to sti󰀨en up the suspension to prevent sagging.
NOT recommended for use with hitch adapters/extensions.
Turn o󰀨 the vehicle’s ignition and set the parking brake before installing the carrier or loading/unloading
cargo.
When using the ramp, make sure it is resting on a solid, level, at surface.
Do not exceed 55 mph while the carrier is attached to the vehicle. Follow all DOT guidelines during use.
Never ride a motorized object onto the carrier - only load/unload empty of cargo and people.
Flammable cargo can ignite from exposure to heat. Be aware of the possible re risk and property damage
that may result from the vehicle’s exhaust system pointing at or running near the cargo in the carrier. Do not
use if this condition exists. Never impede or block vehicle exhaust.
Always make sure the ramp is folded and secured before transport.
Any load must be properly secured to the carrier with tie-downs (sold separately) before transport.
Assemble the carrier in a clean, well-lit area away from hazards.
Replace or repair any damaged parts before use. Keep the carrier clean and dry.
When not in use, store the carrier in a secure, clean, dry location out of the reach of children.
Periodically check all hardware for tightness.
