FactoryTalk ViewPoint system requirements
This section describes system requirements for:
 FactoryTalk ViewPoint Server and FactoryTalk ViewPoint Administration for
Site Edition web applications.
 FactoryTalk ViewPoint Administration for Machine Edition web applications.
 FactoryTalk ViewPoint Clients.
Requirements for Site Edition
S UPPORTED OPERATING SYSTEMS
Before installing FactoryTalk ViewPoint Server or FactoryTalk ViewPoint
Administration, the setup program checks whether the computer is running one of the
following Microsoft operating systems. If these operating systems are not detected,
you will receive a prompt to update the computer.
FactoryTalk ViewPoint requires cookie support.
Ensure that the computer name does not include any invalid DNS characters such as
underscores.
