Creating a new Site Edition web application
After installing the FactoryTalk ViewPoint software, to create a new Site Edition web
application, connect to FactoryTalk ViewPoint Administration, and then perform
these tasks:
 Select a FactoryTalk View SE application.
 Select graphic displays from the FactoryTalk View SE application.
 Publish the displays to the FactoryTalk ViewPoint Server.
Connecting to FactoryTalk ViewPoint Administration
Open a web browser and then enter the address:
http:// ComputerName /FTVP/Admin
where ComputerName is the name or IP address of the FactoryTalk ViewPoint Server
computer.
On the server computer, you can also click
Start > All Programs > Rockwell
Software > FactoryTalk ViewPoint
, and then click FactoryTalk ViewPoint
Administration
.
If you receive a message to install Microsoft Silverlight 4, continue with the
following steps. Otherwise skip to “Creating a new Site Edition web application” on
page 26.
Only one web browser can connect to FactoryTalk ViewPoint Administration on a
given FactoryTalk ViewPoint Server.
