QUICK INSTALLATION DIAGRAM for Whole House Green Carbon & Futura System
For Futura Salt Free Water Conditioner
The media in the Futura Conditioner is recommended to be
soaked by water for 1 to 0 minutes before usage. The salt
free ceramic media has already been placed in the Futura
media tank by the manufacturer. Place the Futura Conditioner
at the location of Installation as the tank will be heaYy to moYe
once filled with water. 2nce the system inputoutput
connections are connected please turn on the incoming water
supply to fill the Futura Conditioner and soak the media for 15-
0 minutes before using water at the home.
For Green Carbon Water Filter
2nce the media tank is installed on the main water pipe
you must Flush Out the Carbon media for 10-15 minutes
or until the water runs clear. Please reYiew Green Carbon
Installation & 2wner·s 0anual on Page 7 for detailed
flushing instruction.
Determine Installation Location For Installing Both Units:
 'o 1ot install the units with less than 5 feet of piping between its outlet and the
inlet of the water heater.
 'o 1ot install the units where the location is subMected to room temperatures under 34
degrees Fahrenheit.
 The tanks should be on a firm leYel surface.
 ProYided the drain line is not reduced the drain line for the Green Carbon should not
exceed 5 feet Vertical. It is best to use a 1µ I' inner diameter or larger drain line.
