The Flow-Restrictor is located on the black waste water output line, sitting behind the membrane housing. It is
used for restricting the waste water flow that is discharged from the membrane housing.
The new flow restrictor will already have a short black tubing connected to the input, and a longer black tube which is
the output. (see Fig. 1)
How to replace the Flow Restrictor:
Step 1: Shut Off Feed Water and Tank
- Shut off the feed water line by turning the needle valve clockwise until it stops (Point X).
(Refer to Fig. 2)
- Turn off the tank valve (Point Y). The tank valve is off when the valve handle is perpendicular (90º)
to the valve’s outlet.
