DetermineifyouneedaReplacementPart

Todetermineifyouneedareplacementpart,contactAPCCustomerSupportandfollowtheprocedure

belowsothattheAPCCustomerSupportrepresentativecanassistyoupromptly:

1.Intheeventofamodulefailure,thedisplayinterfacewillindicateanalarmcondition.Scroll

throughthealarmlists,recordtheinformation,andprovideittotherepresentative.

2.Writedowntheserialnumberoftheunitsothatyouwillhaveiteasilyaccessiblewhenyou

contactAPCCustomerSupport.

3.Ifpossible,callAPCCustomerSupportfromatelephonethatiswithinreachoftheUPSdisplay

interfacesothatyoucangatherandreportadditionalinformationtotherepresentative.

4.Bepreparedtoprovideadetaileddescriptionoftheproblem.Arepresentativewillhelpyou

solvetheproblemoverthetelephone,ifpossible,orwillassignareturnmaterialauthorization

(RMA)numbertoyou.IfamoduleisreturnedtoAPC,thisRMAnumbermustbeclearly

printedontheoutsideofthepackage.

5.Iftheunitiswithinthewarrantyperiod,repairsorreplacementswillbeperformedfreeof

charge.Ifitisnotwithinthewarrantyperiod,therewillbeacharge.

6.IftheunitiscoveredbyanAPCservicecontract,havethecontractavailabletoprovide

informationtotherepresentative.
