2.PresstheBatteryT estSettingsbuttonontheUserCongurationscreentoaccesstheBattery
TestSettingsscreen.
3.PressStarttobeginthebatteryruntimecalibration.Thebatteriesmustbe100%chargedtostart
acalibration.YoucanpressCanceltostopthecalibration.Thestatusoftheruntimecalibration
isshownunderRuntimecalibrationstatus.
SettheBatteryTestSettings
Thebatteryself-testsimulatesthebatterymodeofoperation.IfACutility/mainspowerfailsduringthe
test,theteststopsandtheUPSsuppliesbatterypower.
Thetestdetectsanyweakordefectivebatterycells.Todothis,theloadmustbehighenoughtodraw
sufcientcurrentwhichinturncausesthevoltagetodroptoalowlevel.
Thefollowingcriteriashouldbemettoensureyoursearchdetectsanyweakbatterycells:
•Thetotaldischargecurrenttotheloadfromboththepositiveandnegativesidesofthebatteries
needstobeatleasthalfoftheratedbatteryAh,whichisdeterminedbythenumberofinstalled
batterystrings.Forexample,ifyouhave18Ahofbatteries,morethan9Amustbedrawnbythe
loadfromeachbatteryside.
•Boththepositiveandnegativebatteryvoltagemustbelowerthan280Vforlongerthan16seconds.
