•TheHTTPSprotocol,whichprovidesextrasecuritythroughSecureSocketLayer(SSL);encrypts

usernames,passwords,anddatabeingtransmitted;andauthenticatesNetworkManagementCards

bymeansofdigitalcerticates.

ToaccesstheWebinterfaceandcongurethesecurityofyourdeviceonthenetwork:

1.AddresstheNetworkManagementCardbyitsIPaddress(oritsDNSname,ifaDNSname

iscongured).

2.Entertheusernameandpassword(bydefault,“apc”and“apc”foranAdministrator).

3.ToenableordisabletheHTTPorHTTPSprotocol,usetheNetworkmenuonthe

Administrationtab,andselecttheAccessoptionundertheWebheadingontheleftnavigation

menu.
