TheUPSisinrequestedstaticbypassfollowingacommandfromthegraphicaluserinterface.And
theUPSisinforcedbypasswhenafaultonthesystemhascausedstaticbypassoperation.During
staticbypassoperation,thecriticalloadissupplieddirectlybyutility/mainspower.WhiletheUPSis
operatinginthismode,asingle-linediagramwillappearonthescreen.Theorangelineindicatesthe
powerowfromtheutility/mainsthroughthebypassstaticswitch,andthentothecriticalload.
Note:Thebatteriesarenotavailableasanalternatepowersourcewhilethesystemis
inforcedstaticbypassoperation.Thebatteriesareavailableinrequestedbypass,and
itispossibletomanuallytransfertonormaloperation.Ifthereisaninterruptiontothe
utility/mainspowersupplyduringrequestedstaticbypassoperation,thesystemwill
transfertobatteryoperation.Thiswillcauseaninterruptiontothepowersupplyingthe
loadandmayresultinaloaddrop.
