nications operations. Sentry
Power Manager (SPM) is the most comprehensive and affordable solution to measure,
monitor and trend power in your operation. This solution monitors and manages
multiple devices in IP-based enterprise networks. SPM provides a cabinet-level,
global view of all CDUs with the ability to view devices based on their temperature,
humidity, current and device status. Besides managing and monitoring all alarm
conditions, this information can also be used to provide reporting and trending
information for display within SPM or integrated using an Application Programming
Interface (API) with your existing Building Management System (BMS) or other system.
FEATURES
• A central interface to access multiple network monitored cabinet power
distribution units
• New features include VMWare-ready virtualization, easy to navigate user
interface with unlimited customizable views, scheduling and
reporting capabilities
• Global view of all Sentry power distribution units (Cabinet PDUs) and ability to
view devices based on temperature, humidity, current and device status
• Control all networked Sentry cabinet power distribution units. Interoperability to
control third-party PDUs
• Control Sentry POPS (Per Outlet Power Sensing) Cabinet PDU on a per
outlet basis
• Power information including kW and kW-hour information for billing, power
monitoring, trending and power reports. Stores three years of trending data
• IT equipment power information can be used to measure the efficiency in your
data center for PUE and DCIE, power efficiency ratings from the Green Grid
• Using industry-standard SOAP and REST API tools SPM often acts as a
middleware solution providing power monitoring, management and control
solutions down to the device and branch circuit level
