PROBLEM
Humidifier inoperative.

Water not hooked up.
Electrical connections loose.
Humidifier fuse open.
Relative humidity is above
the setpoint.
Overheat switch actuated.
Fuse open.
Thermostat set too low.
Thermal line in heater open.
Insufficient air quantity over
the evaporator coil.
Liquid line temperature.
Dirty coil.
Excessive air.
No power to controller.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
Turn on water.
Tighten electrical connections
Check for short circuit.
Replace if necessary.
No corrective action needed.
Reset and check.
Check for short circuit.
Replace if necessary.
None required. Adjust to
required temperature.
Replace line.
Load fan to name plate
AMPS. Remove discharge air
restrictions. Clean filters.
Adjust condensing
temperature to specifications
and reduce excessive
subcooling.
Clean the coil.
