but will not operate
• System is off
• Remote shutdown or input
contact is active
• System is in alarm
• Turn the System on.
• Check input contact configuration settings.
• Check for active system alarms.
Suction pressure
too low
• Dirty or blocked evaporator coil
• Low refrigerant charge
• Filter drier restriction
• Expansion valve closed
• Erroneous sensor reading
• Clean evaporator coil.
• Check for proper subcooling. Repair leak and
recharge the system.
• Check for excessive pressure drop. Replace the
filter drier if necessary.
• Check expansion valve operation.
• Check pressure and temperature sensor
operation.
