6. Reworking task can be started as soon as the desired hot air
temperature and airflow l evel are reached, as also indicated from
displaypanels“11”and“12”,respectively.
7. When reworking is complete, return the Hot Air Gun to its holder
andDONOTimmediatelyturnoffthemainpowerswitch.
8. DeactivatetheHotAirGunActivationbuttonfirstinordertoactivate
theautocoolingprocess.Thesystemwillstarttoblowair(atroom
temperature)atafastratetoreduceheatfromthehot airgunand
bring down the temperature to a reasonable safe level of 90°C.
During this time, the prefix of the display for hot air gun
temperature will also change from “A” to “E” while temperatureis
graduallydecreasing.Likewise,theairpressurelevelisatitshighest
readingasindicated fromthe displaypanel.Oncethetemperature
dropstoapproximately90°C thesystemwill haltanddisplay“OFF”
on the panel. Itis now safe toswitch off themain power switch.

3. Connect the vacuum tube to the Smoke Absorber Terminal or
VacuumCap(“7”fromthecontrolpanel).
4. IMPORTANT: SettheBLOWERorVACUUMACTIVATIONswitchto
“VacuumAir”.
5. Activate the “SOLDER IRON” Activation switch (“17” from control
panel).This will automatically starttoincreasethetemperatureof
thesolderingironto350°C(default).
NOTE: Ahighbeepsoundwillbeheardwhenthedefaulttemperature
(orwhenthedesiredtemperature)isreached.
6. AdjustthesolderingirontemperatureusingtheSOLDER/DESOLDER
TEMPERATUREADJUSTMENTbuttons(“4”fromthecontrolpanel).
7. Activate the “SMOKE ABSORBER” Activation switch (“16” from the
controlpanel).
8. Start using the soldering iron as soon as desired temperature is
reached.
9. Whenthetaskisfinished,deactivatetheSMOKEABSORBERswitch.
10. DeactivatetheSOLDERIRONactivationswitch.
11. SettheBLOWER/VACUUMACTIVATIONswitchbackto“BlowAir”.
12. Detach the soldering iron connection assembly from the 6pin
receptacleatthecontrolpanelaswellasthevacuumtubefromthe
vacuumcap(ifnecessary).
13. Allow sufficient time for the soldering iron to cool down before
keepinginasafestorage.(Optionalbutrecommended)
C. SOLDERING IRON
1. Connect the Soldering Iron connection assembly to the 6pin
receptacle located at the front of the control panel (“8” from the
CONTROLPANELGUIDE).
IMPORTANTNOTE: Steps3,4,7,9,and11areoptionalwhenusingonlythe
solderingiron.Ifthesmokeabsorberfunctionwillbe
used,theseproceduresarerequired.
