5-2-3 TRIPLE CHANNEL RECEIVE
Using both the Dual channel receive mode and Dual band receive mode at the same time, a total of
three channels can be received simultaneously.
5-2-3-1 SETTING FREQUENCIES
1. Set the first two frequencies by following the procedures for dual frequency receive in offset mode
as described above. Those are used as the main frequencies.
2. Set the third frequency by following the procedures for dual band receive as described above.
It is used as the sub frequency.
3. When all three frequencies are properly selected, both offset icon and dual band icon will appear
on the LCD indicating the three frequencies have been stored successfully.
5-2-3-2 DEACTIVATING TRIPLE CHANNEL RECEIVE
1. Press the [FUNC] key, and then press the [5] key to exit dual frequency receive mode.
2. Press the [FUNC] key, and then press and hold the [VFO] key for two seconds to exit dual band
mode.
5-3 MANAGING AN SD CARD
The AR5001D has a built-in SD memory card interface used for voice recording and/or memory
management. Once formatted, all data on the card will be deleted and lost.
5-3-1 FORMAT AN SD CARD
The supplied SD card does not need to be formatted. However, if you wish to format the SD card,
perform the following steps.
(Note: Once formatted, all data on the card will be deleted and lost.)
1. Insert a new SD memory card with a printed label upward facing the slot on the front panel until you
can hear a click.
2. Wait until “SD” appears on the top middle of the LCD.
3. Press the [FUNC] key, and then press the
[kHz] key. The configuration menu will be displayed.
