3. MEASURING INSTRUCTION
3.1 DC Voltage Measurement
1) Connect the black test lead to "COM" socket and connect the red test lead
to the "VΩHz" socket.
2) Set the rotary switch to desired "V ”position and connect the probes
across the source or load under measurement.
3) Read the result from the LCD panel.
3.2 AC Voltage Measurement
1) Connect the black test lead to "COM" socket and connect the red test lead
to the "VΩHz" socket.
2) Set the rotary switch to desired "V " position and connect the probes
across the source or load under measurement.
3) Read the result from the LCD panel.
3.3 DC Current Measurement
1) Set the rotary switch to desired "200A “or "1000A " position.
2) Press the "REL", "0" will present on the screen.
Note:
As the jaw core may remain some magnetic force after using for a while. If the
display can not reach "0", please press the "REL” and take following process
to correct it:
A. To change the direction of the measured DC current.
B. Open the JAWS for several times.
3) Open the clamp by pressing the jaw-opening trigger and place the cable in
the middle of jaws.
4) Close the clamp jaws and get the reading from the LCD panel.
Note:
Before this measurement, disconnect the test lead with the meter for safety.
Only the measured data of DCA hasn’t unit presented on the panel
screen and APP.
3.4 AC Current Measurement
1) Set rotary switch to desired "400/1000A~" position.
2) Open the clamp by pressing the jaw-opening trigger and place the cable in
the middle of jaws.
3) Close the clamp jaws and get the reading from the LCD panel.
Note:
a) Before this measurement, disconnect the test lead with the meter for
safety.
b) In some occasion that the reading is hard to read, you can push the D.H
button to lock the data and read the result later.
3.5 Resistance measurement
1) Connect the black test lead to "COM" socket and connect red test lead to
