Installing SoftPEG (MPEG1 software decoder)
After installing MPEG 1 Coder, it is required to install SoftPEG.
Install SoftPEG separately by following the procedure below.
1. Insert the supplied CD-ROM into the DVD-RAM drive, then from the Start menu
select [Run].
2. In the “Open” box, enter “e:\sottpeg\setup.exe", then click [OK].
Installation begins.
• This assumes that the DVD-RAM drive is assigned drive letter E:.
• Follow the on-screen instruction to proceed.
Note: SoftPEG is registered as standard MCI device.
The MPEG decoder registered before SoftPEG installation will be
replaced by SoftPEG.
Uninstalling the supplied application software
To delete supplied application software that you have installed on your personal
computer, uninstall it by following the procedure below.
1. From the Start menu, select [Settings], then [Control Panel].
You may also open the fMy Computer] window and then select [Control
Panel].
2. Double-click [Add/Remove Programs] and select the application you wish to
execute.
3. Click [Add/Remove] button.
• Follow the on-screen instruction to proceed.
• When you finish uninstalling, reboot your system.
