Connections
Before connecting the DVD-RAM
• Be sure to read the operating instructions and operating precautions for the
personal computer into which this DVD-RAM drive will be installed.
• Turn off the power switch for the personal computer and unplug the power cord
from the power socket. (Never connect the DVD-RAM drive where it will be
susceptible to vibration or impact or where the surface is tilted.
• Mounting screw holes are located in eight places on the right and left panels of
the DVD-RAM drive, and in four places on the bottom panel. When securing the
DVD-RAM drive into a personal computer or other device, secure the DVD-
RAM drive firmly in place with four mounting screws (included) in four places on
the right and left panels or in four places on the bottom panel.
• Insert the connection cables firmly.
• Be sure to observe all operating environment restrictions as noted in
"SPECIFICATIONS" on the back cover.
