How to choose the ring tone
To choose the ring tone to be used for incoming calls, do the following:
1. Tap Start > Settings > Personal tab > Phone > Phone tab, or tap Menu >
Options… > Phone tab on the Phone screen.
2. Select the sound you want to use in the Ring tone list.

To use *.wav, *.mid, *.mp3, *.wma, or other types of sound files as ring tones, you
can download these files to your phone from the internet or your PC.

To use downloaded sound files as ring tones, you should save the file to the My
Device / Windows / Rings folder on your device.
How to choose the keypad tone
To choose the keypad tone to be used, do the following:
1. Tap Start > Settings > Personal tab > Phone > Phone tab
or tap Menu > Options > Phone tab on the Phone screen.
2. In the Keypad list, tap the option you want.

If you set the keypad tone to Long tones, you can hear the tone for as long as you
are pressing the number. If set to Short tones, the tone is heard only for one or two
seconds. If set to Off, no tone will be heard.
How to choose Phone services
Phone services, such as Call Forwarding, Call Waiting, and Voice Mail enable you
to choose how to handle all incoming calls on the device
1. Tap Start > Settings > Personal tab > Phone > Services tab.
2. Select the service you want to use and tap.
