How to change recording formats
1. Tap Start > Settings > Personal tab > Input.
2. Tap the Options tab, and in the Voice recording format list, select the desired
format.
3. Tap ok.

Within Notes list, there is a link which you can change recording formats. Tap Menu
> Options… > Global Input Options link, and then tap the Options tab.
