9.3.3. Firmware File Validaon
Before the rmware le is imported into the system, the rmware upgrade funcon perform a validaon of the
le, to ensure that:
• the rmware is compable with the Communicator hardware
• the rmware is suited for the product
• the ocially HMS soware signatures are valid
• that the rmware le is not corrupt or damaged
If the rmware le does not pass the validaon, the rmware le is rejected and an error message appear.
