Section 3 - Contact Hazards
Method: Skin contact: No danger from normal use.
Eye contact: Solid or particulate material may cause irritation when exposed to the eye.
Inhalation: The gas produced by the raw material when melted may aggravate the lungs and respiratory
system. If handling materials when melted, an air purifier and/or mask should be installed or used.
Ingestion: If material from this product is swallowed or ingested, if may cause irritation to the mouth,
throat and digestive system. Get immediate medical assistance.
Health Hazards: No danger from normal use. Can be dangerous if vapors are inhaled or material
ingested.
Section 4 - First Aid Measures
Eyes Contact: If eye irritation occurs, flush affected area(s) with clean water for 15 minutes while holding eyelids
apart. Seek medical attention.
Skin Contact: There is no specific symptom when coming in contact with skin.
Ingestion: Not a normal route of exposure. However, if swallowed, seek immediate medical attention.
Inhalation: Under normal circumstances, this material cannot be inhaled. The gas generated when melting the
material should not be inhaled. If inhalation occurs, remove the person to an area with fresh air, perform artificial
respiration if/when necessary and immediately provide medical attention as needed.
Section 5 - Fire Fighting Measures
Hazardous Properties: Thermal decomposition may release toxic or dangerous gases.
Extinguishing Media: Firefighting personnel should wear gas masks, helmets, fire, fighting clothing, gloves and boots,
to prevent inhalation of toxic, irritating gas and thermal decomposition of smoke.
Fire Extinguishing Agent: Powder extinguishing agent, carbon dioxide, water spray and prescribed foam.
