SX-7
This card is capable of Playback only. It has no Recording capability. Generally, this card is combined
with the SX-12, SX-20, or SX-22 in order to provide Stereo or Overlap capabilities. The card can use
either the ADPCM or Dolby-AC2 digital audio algorithms, and it can perform Shrink-and-Expand
Operations.
Connections can be made in two places. There are two RCA connections for unbalanced -10dB audio, or
there is a 9 pin D-sub connector for +16dB balanced audio.

SX-20
With the capacity to perform Simultaneous Playback & Record, SHRINK-and-EXPAND of audio, using
the Dolby-AC2 digital audio algorithm, up to 16 KHz mono, this card is usually found in upper line
systems. With the addition of the SX-7 Playback only card, Stereo audio and the ability to Overlap audio
cuts is achieved. Input and output connections are made with RCA unbalanced connectors.
SX-22
This card has the same features as the SX-20. However, it has a 9-pin D-sub connector for balanced audio
connections.
