The 48v phantom power button is protected with a tooltip. Press Ctrl + Left Click to
enable phantom power on the selected mic preamp.
Notes :
● The Hi-Z option is available only on Channels 1 – 4 representing the four front
panel preamp/combo inputs labeled A1 – A4.
● The Direct option hard-bypasses the preamp circuitry and takes incoming signal
straight to the A/D conversion stage. It is to be used on line-level and
instrument-level sources only.
● An advantage to Direct recording is that hard-bypassing the preamp circuitry raises
dynamic range and lowers total harmonic distortion (THD) as follows:
