Control menu
Holding the Middle Function button enters the Control Menu with the following sub-
menus. Turn the rotary control to navigate. Press the rotary control to enter. Press and
hold the rotary control to confirm. Press any of the function buttons to exit.
Clock Source
Set the clock source. The following options are available:
● ‘OVEN’ - Oven-controlled crystal oscillator (internal)
● ‘WC’ - Word Clock input (external)
● ‘S/PDIF’ - digital audio input (external)
● ADAT (2x, 4x) input (external)
● USB. In ‘USB’ mode the unit still uses its internal clock.
Sample Rate
Set the sample rate between 32.0kHz – 192kHz.
Note: Please make sure the device sample rate matches the sample rate in your DAW and
operating system settings.
SR Conversion
Choose if the S/PDIF input will be sample rate-converted to match the sample rate of the
Orion Studio Synergy Core. For example, if you want the interface to run at 192 kHz and
your S/PDIF input is in 44.1 kHz, it will be converted to match the device sample rate.
Peak Meter
Choose the audio source for peak metering. To avoid information repeating, the choices
here are explained in the 'Routing tab – Terminology' section of this manual (page 36).
Monitor Trim
Set the signal trim levels for the monitor outputs (in dBu).
Line Out Trim
Set the signal trim levels for the line outputs (in dBu).
Brightness
Adjust the display brightness.
Back to the front panel…
The Bottom button enters the Presets menu.
