You may also use a microphone cable with unbalanced 6.35mm jack. 2 CH1 - LINE/MIC SWITCH Place the switch in LINE to use a line-level source or MIC for use with a microphone 3 CH1 - LEVEL This knob adjusts channel one level, turn it to the right to raise the level, to the left to decrease it.
