BRAKES

GENERAL SETTING

Your new bicycle is equipped with a very reliable brake system. You can check the dis-

tance between the brake block and the rim. That distance should be between 1,5mm

and 2mm.

Wiring and setting the Dual Pivot Brake

1. Set the quick release in closed position.

2. Set the distance of the brake shoe (see illustration). Fix the wire with the wire screw

with a torque of 6-8NM.

CHANGING BRAKE PADS

1. First loosen the safety screw by using a 2mm allen wrench.

2. Push the used brake pad out of the aluminium brake shoe.

3. Insert the new brake pad into the brake shoe. Attention: Pay attention to the arrow

marks which indicate the right direction to insert each brake pad.

4. Tighten the safety screw with a torque of approx. 1,5NM.
