Mounting step 1:

Sound moderator mod. Hold the Quick

Connect in the region of the sound

moderator [2QC].

Mounting step 2:

Sound moderator mod. Slide the Quick

Connect onto the Quick Connect adapter

up to the end position, then slowly turn the

sound moderator in an anti-clockwise direc-

tion (in the direction of “Lock” arrow),

applying light pressure until the pin of the

error-prooﬁng device is threaded into the

guide slot of the adapter. Then turn the

sound moderator by a further 90° until the

bayonet lock is fully engaged and in

position.

Removal:

Sound moderator mod. Hold the Quick Connect in the region of the sound moderator

[2QC] again and turn it by 90° in a clockwise direction (in direction of “Unlock”

arrow) until the sound moderator fully disengages from the bayonet lock, then gently

pull the sound moderator from the Quick Connect adapter. When doing so, the static

friction and the sliding friction of the guide slot O-rings must be overpowered.

To protect the adapter, place the muzzle brake or protective sleeve on the Quick

Connect adapter and turn in an anti-clockwise direction until the bayonet lock

noticeably locks into position.

 All Quick Connect interfaces of the muzzle brake and protective sleeve must be

clean and covered with a light ﬁlm of oil!
