Muzzle threadings:
Muzzle threadings must be installed by an authorised gunsmith. When doing so, the
tolerances and the placement of a perfect plane surface between the thread and
barrel are essential. Lightly grease muzzle threadings with a small amount of high-per-
formance grease.
Temperature/heat-resistance:
Maximum working temperature 200°C. 10 shots in quick succession with a normal
caliber (e.g. 308 Win.) bring the temperature of the sound moderator up to 200°C.
Attention! Risk of burns!
Wait until the sound moderator has cooled before touching it.
Sound moderator protective sleeve/heat protection:
When using a protective sleeve/heat protection, the sound moderator takes longer to
cool down. After 10 shots, take a break to allow the temperature to drop.
.
Magnum caliber:
Pay attention to the sound moderator temperature when using Magnum calibers. The
maximum temperature is reached much quicker with Magnum cartridges.
Before shooting:
Before shooting, ensure that the passage between the monocore [2OB/3QC] and
the bolt cap [1OB/1QC] is free.
